WHErE DO WE GET RESOURCES?
We resource our raw materials from non-polluted areas in Asia, using farms where moso bamboo is organically grown.

Bamboo is transformed from stalk to chips, mashed into pulp, processed into fiber, spun into yarn, then woven into fabric.
OUR STORY
Organic Bamboo Bedding was formed to solve two important problems:

1. How can we create the healthiest organic bamboo sheets that are safe and comfy for our customers?

2. What type of organic bamboo bedding will be the most eco-friendly for our planet earth?

With this in mind we use only organically grown Moso bamboo. Our products are ethically made and designed using the highest quality and standards. We offer the best and most luxurious Bamboo Sheets on the market.

BAMBOO FACTS

GROWN ORGANICALLY

Bamboo is grown organically without the need for fertilizers or pesticides. It looks like a tree but is actually considered a grass.

The type of Bamboo we use for our linens is called Moso bamboo. Moso is the ideal stalk to be used for creating textiles, and is farmed organically. We do not cut down natural forests in the making of our linens, and that is Panda-Friendly!

PANDA FOOD

A panda's diet is 99% made up of bamboo shoots, poles and leaves. As bamboo is Panda food, they eat about 26 - 84 pounds of bamboo every day! But Bamboo Bedding linens are made from the type of bamboo that panda's do not like to eat: Moso bamboo. So our products are Panda-Friendly.

SOIL STABILITY

Bamboo is one of the best plants to use for soil stability and to prevent soil erosion. Its excellent for protecting a riverbank, creek or dam walls, steep garden beds, etc. Bamboo stalks are cut at the base, not pulled out by the root. The plant is not killed at harvest, so eco-conscious people will appreciate that. This allows the stalk to regrow until its time for the next harvest.

This makes bamboo an excellent tool for soil stability and conservation.

INCREDIBLY STRONG

Bamboo poles are incredibly strong and sturdy, some are stronger then steel! They're often used for construction, furniture and flooring. The skinnier poles are good for stakes in the garden or for weaving furniture.

Bamboo is a very light building material because its mostly hollow, yet its three times stronger than timber. When compared with steel, bamboo has a greater tensile strength. This means it can withstand more tension or stretching pressure before breaking. When facing off against one of the hardest materials in the world, concrete, bamboo withstands compression better.

BACTERIA AND ODOR RESISTANT

Bamboo naturally repels odors and allergens due to it’s natural bio-agent BAMBOO KUN, which makes it bacteria and odor resistant.

Because Bamboo bed sheets resist bacteria, your linens will stay fresh longer.

UV PROTECTION

Bamboo fabric is also anti-static and offers natural UV protection, as it cuts out 97% of harmful UV rays. There's no other natural fiber used for textiles that has this very useful property.

ECO FRIENDLY

Bamboo absorbs carbon dioxide, and releases over 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere than trees. When comparing this to an equivalent mass of trees, its very amazing. This makes bamboo perfect for absorbing greenhouse gases and producing clean, fresh oxygen.

I bought a set of bamboo bed sheets and an oversized blanket. I love them. The material is super soft and keeps me warm. Great way to end a stressful day is crawl in a bed with these sheets and blankets and drift off to dreamland.

I bought the Snow sheet sometime ago and loved them - so cool in the warm weather and warm in winter! Now replacing all the sheets with bamboo sheets.
Megan Wernecke     ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I LOVE my sheets so much they are so soft. They stay on my bed and are like sleeping on a cloud. They don't wrinkle and just have gotten better with time. I bought another brand thinking they'd be similar, NOT. They were AWFUL and went right back to the store...Only organic bamboo bedding for Me.

I have a set of King White sheets, and they are literally the only sheets I've used since I got them. After 8 years of weekly washing, they finally started to wear out! My girlfriend bought a set of regular sheets a few years back after she moved in, I said nope, not happening lady. I've been using those backup cotton sheets since Friday, and I hate them. Your sheets are pretty high-end, usually way outside my pay grade but I can't live without them! MUST get a set of these sheets back in my life.

Over the years, I have suffered from allergies. Despite using non allergenic pillows, and getting rid of all of the curtains and carpets in my bedroom, and vacuuming frequently, I still felt stuffy at night and woke up woozy in the mornings. I bought a set of your organic bamboo bedding bamboo sheets last year and could immediately tell the difference. My breathing was better at night, and my stuffy nose was gone. They are the only sheets I will use now. Also, your sheets are the only sheets that haven't bothered my son's eczema . There is no pilling or rubbing, or that sandpaper feel he complained about with other sheets he's used. I've since bought a second set of sheets for each bed so I can always have and extra one available. I count it as a health care expense and it is well worth it!Your current and future customer.

I have to tell you that your sheets are 1000% AMAZING!!!! I woke up multiple times last night and thought, "Ahhh, these sheets are so soft. I LOVE THEM!!! When I got home from class my boyfriend kept going on and on about how wonderful the sheets were and how much HE loves them! I am going to carry the tote from my travel set in my car so that when I tell people about my new favorite sheets I can show them the fabric. I'm blown away. My hat's off to you, organic bamboo bedding, you have created an outstanding product that I can see going global!

I felt pretty good when I gifted the Panda baby items to my cousin at her baby shower, and she raved about bamboo in front of all the gals, thanks for making something good for babies skin and made me look good!

If you like the glossy look of satin but the comfy feel of flannel, bamboo is a great, sustainable substitute. Bamboo bedding has a subtle glossy finish. It's not as reflective as satin, but it has a nice sheen, and they are much, much softer than traditional cotton. And the great thing about bamboo sheets is that they are naturally antimicrobial, so they are great for people who have allergies or other health concerns.

I got mine at the Reno Costco, I washed them following the directions before putting them on our bed. They feel sooooooo silky and luxurious. Since we have a very thick mattress and a thick gel pad on our bed, it's always a struggle putting the fitted sheet around it. But the fitted sheet fit perfectly. I just love them. I've got another set I purchased through another vendor, however, these sheets are far superior!!!

My daughter's been taking off her flat sheet for years, it always ends up on the floor, and I explain it helps keep the duvet clean longer, but she says it gets in her way and makes it harder to make her bed so she just didn't. So when I got the announcement that you had a bottom sheet and duvet cover set, I immediately ordered her the gray one, and she is loving it and said its way easier to make her bed (at least she's making her bed!!! LOL) so I was thrilled! thank you for thinking of this!

What is Bamboo Viscose, and Rayon from Bamboo?

Both terms are virtually interchangeable and mean ‘the process’ of breaking down the bamboo stalk into a fiber. Because the end fiber is indistinguishable from other wood pulps (i.e.; eucalyptus, beech wood, pine, etc.) the Federal Trade Commission requires that it be called either viscose, or rayon from bamboo. We've chosen to use both words in describing our fabric so that customers become familiar with either term.

Should I wash the Bamboo Sheets or Duvet Covers before I use them?

Yes, we highly recommended you wash the bamboo sheets and duvet covers before use. Our linens have been oversized to allow for the first-time shrinkage that occurs when you wash and dry them. Bamboo can shrink up to 4% at the first wash, and you may think the Fitted Sheet is too big if you don't wash them first. Zip the Duvet closed prior to washing to maintain the integrity of the zipper. The buttoned duvets have an extra button sewn inside the bottom of the duvet. This allows you to replace any that fall off or are lost.

What does the audit do?

Its important to us that our factories annually pass a stringent 25-point review process, which is called a Social Responsibility Audit. Many US retailers require this certification. It ensures there is no child labor working within our factories, and that the workers are not under-paid or over-worked. Safeguards are put in place to protect the environment, and to ensure their health and safety. We're proud to be producing our linens in such responsible factories that take great care of their workers!

Can my Bamboo Towels snag? How to fix a snag on Towels?

If your Bamboo towel is snagged, simply cut the snag off with sharp scissors, and it won’t continue to snag. Best practice for laundering is not to wash them with things that have zippers, Velcro, or hooks. This will reduce snagging.

Can I hang Bamboo Towels on the clothesline?

Yes, you can. If they are a little crisp once dried, you can simply toss them in the dryer for 5-10 minutes and they'll fluff back to softness again.

How do I use a Bamboo Coverlet?

There are many uses for the Coverlet! It can be folded at the foot of the bed, ready to pull up on a chilly night. Or it can be used as a lightweight bedspread in the summer, when a down comforter is too hot. You can let it hang loose at the sides of the bed, or tuck it into the mattress for a finished look. Some people even use them on the sofa when they want a ‘blanket’ to cover two people during movie-watching.

What is a Duvet Bed Set?

A Duvet Bed Set is for those that don’t prefer to use a Flat Sheet, and just want the simplicity of a Fitted Sheet with a Duvet Cover; we have created the perfect set for you! Why pay for a flat sheet when you don’t use one? We’ve built the set with simply a Fitted Sheet, a Duvet Cover and 2 Pillowcases. Sleep easier with no flat sheet twisting around your legs!

Will the King Duvet fit my Cal King comforter?

Yes, it will. We've tried to make the dimensions universal to fit both a King, a Cal King, and a Split King bed. Although a Cal-King comforter size is a little longer and a little more narrow, it should fit the duvet nicely. You may just have a bit of extra fabric draping on the sides of the bed, but it will still fit fine.

Where do you make your Sheets and Towels?

Our sheets and towel lines are made responsibly at some of the largest home textile factories located in India and China. The decision has been made to manufacture all products in India by the summer of 2021. The process of converting a bamboo stalk into a fiber has been patented by a Chinese company. We use these patented yarns in the production of our entire line of bamboo linens, which are incredibly soft and silky.

What are Melange Towels?

Eco-melange towels are made with a blend of bamboo and cotton threads. The unique waterless coloring method makes the colors deep and true. Melange is also bleachable and BPO safe. The two-tone look is created by twisting White cotton threads around Black bamboo threads to create the two-tone loops. They're super plush and absorbent, as well as mildew and odor resistant.

Are Bamboo Towels Good for the Gym? Are Bamboo Towels good for the pool, sauna or spa?

Use as a gym towel, pool towel, beach towel, all ideal places for its use, as Bamboo Towels are naturally resistant to bacteria and odors, so you can bathe safe and clean with bamboo. Additionally, they are great for kid’s athletic bags, motor homes, boats and by the pool, bamboo naturally provides UV protection.

Are Bamboo Towels good for hair?

Bamboo towels are much more gentle on hair than synthetic or cotton towels. Bamboo towels are softer, gentler, more absorbent, preventing hair damage and skin irritations. Bamboo Towels absorb water 3x better than cotton towels, so hair dries quickly and with minimal damage.

How do I wash Bamboo Coverlets?

Rayon from Bamboo is best cared for by washing in cold or warm water with an eco-friendly liquid detergent, and drying on low to medium heat. Proper washing will extend the life; you can expect to get 5-6+ years from your Coverlet with proper laundering. Bamboo fabrics have natural bacteria-resistance so if you’re used to using bleach to kill any bacteria, there is no need to do so with bamboo. A great benefit for your health and the environment! You can even iron on high heat and with steam, it will iron beautifully.
Recommended laundry detergents are: Ecos, Seventh Generation, Meyer's Clean Act, Woolite, Aspen Clean. But if you have a liquid detergent that you like, it will work just fine.

What are melange Duvet Covers?

Melange Duvet Covers and Sheet sets are made from a unique waterless coloring method. This makes the colors rich and true, yet bleachable. The twisting of the White cotton threads with the Black bamboo threads is what creates the textured look. The fabric is also BPO safe, so retinal creams will not stain the linens. The melange Duvet Cover and Sheet Sets are very comfy and cozy, because of the twill weave and soft feel.

What do you put in a Duvet Cover?

You can use a down or poly-fil comforter, a blanket, quilt or afghan. In the summer some people like to just insert our lightweight blanket, and in the winter they insert a thick down comforter. But anything you prefer will work just fine!

What detergent do you recommend for Bamboo Sheets?

We recommend a mild liquid detergent like Ecos, Mrs. Myers, Woolite, Seventh Generation, ECover, Aspen Clean, or Kirkland Ultra Clean. We do not recommend bleach, fabric softeners, washer balls or dryer sheets/balls. We’ve noticed that harsher detergents can break down the fibers faster, shortening the lifespan of the linens and/or creating tearing at the seams. Its not recommended to use any detergents that say 'Tough on Stains' as they'll be too harsh on fine fabrics.

Do Duvet Covers have inside ties?

The duvets with zippers do not, but our new Buttoned Duvets do. We are listening to our customers feedback and this has been requested, so we’ve added ties in summer 2021. With the zippered duvets (which we are phasing out by 2022) to re-center your comforter; simply grab the end of the duvet cover with the comforter positions about 6” from the foot, and give it a number of good hard shakes. This should reposition the comforter to fill the duvet again
